Fun Filled Friday!

Hi all!

It's a fun filled Friday Activity! Hope almost everyone is  happily spending time on your vacation. Why don't you learn a simple activity for a fun filled Friday!

Let's make a tornado inside a bottle..

Fun step 1

Take an empty clean plastic bottle of your choice, but must be a transparent one..yup! it must be visible!

Fun step 2

Fill three quarters of the plastic bottle with water.

You can add a pinch of glitter and a few drops of dish-washing liquid. But it's optional.

Fun step 3

Just hold the bottle with your hands on top and bottom, keep the bottle horizontally and bring close to your chest and just spin and immediately bring back to vertical position. Yeah!!! You’ve done it! Tornado in your bottle!

It's an exciting and fun activity to my kids and their friends to make a tornado inside a bottle..yes you can make this happen in your water bottle whenever it is three quarters full. Parents, note! Your kids will drink water and fill their water bottle often, to quench their thirst for fun!! ( Note: NO glitter and dish-wash liquid should be added!!)

SCIENCE BEHIND THIS ACTIVITY

Tornado in the bottle is created by the water vortex, a whirling mass of water that sucks everything near it towards its center. while spinning the bottle in a circular motion creates water vortex that looks like a mini tornado.
